- From AKGJ enquiring about the Thorney Hill New Forest dig which he would like to visit. Margaret forwarded the message to the EC asking for advice and replied to AKGJ giving him the email address for John Henry Phillips.
- Siobhan forwarded the message from Clare Orchard to ACERT regarding concerns about PHSE in primary and secondary settings. Discussed at September 9th EC.
- Emma Nuttall invitation to webinar meeting on October 15 at 5pm for schools that have signed the Schools GRTSB pledge.
- Siobhan forwarded the National Planning Policy consultation submission from Moving for Change and GATE Herts prepared by Michael Hargreaves asking others to respond/endorse the submission. Margaret forwarded it to the EC.
- Siobhan sent information about the government call for evidence on the National Curriculum. Improving the curriculum and assessment system – GOV.UK (www.gov.uk) Deadline 22 November. Discuss.
- Dr Nicola Hay University of the West of Scotland is looking to speak to Roma, Gypsy and Traveller people who are currently attending or have attended university in the United Kingdom to hear about their experiences. She also wants to learn about indigenous employment and job advice passed down from parents and grandparents and learn about the cultural teachings that mean the most to community members. Margaret shared her email with the EC and the Education Network and Brian put a post on the website.
