Casting call for community film making project

Travellers’ Times and Rural Media have launched a new film project exploring health and well-being from the perspectives of young Travellers. Its Kushti to Rokker is a community film project looking to cast young actors and actresses from Gypsy, Roma and Traveller backgrounds.

Romani Gypsies and Travellers are raising their voices to bring issues facing young people in their communities into the public debate. They’re sharing their personal stories and lived experiences to inspire and co-create five short dramas aimed at breaking down the stigma that surrounds speaking out about mental health.

As part of this project we are now looking for five individuals aged 13 – 25 years old to play lead roles.
