Minutes were amended to accurately reflect the discussion with the addition of “DGLG argues gender ideology is being taught which brought about very age inappropriate  lesson plans from some teachers.”

From Wendy Charles-Warner the chair of Education Otherwise who have developed training materials for Gypsy, Roma and Traveller Home Education asking if we would be interested in a discussion with her about possible input from ACERT. Tammy Whittaker also sent details of online training sessions by Education Otherwise.
  2. Susie Fraser Director of Manchester Communication Research School asking if we would like to contribute in person or with materials to a conference for school leaders on May 22 in Manchester on Improving outcomes for Gypsy, Roma and Traveller students.
Action
  1. Ask Margaret to contact Education otherwise and invite them to an Education Network meeting.
  2. Check the Manchester Conference is still running and they still want us. If it is circulate details.
